Reception Children Hit the Ground Running During First Week!

Welcome to RR 2016’s Blog and our very first entry. its not even the end of tour first week at school, yet we have been doing so much! This week we have really had a focus on learning our school routines, learning how to share our environment with each other and how we can learn safely and independently. Take a look at some of the things that have been happening…

As you can see.. we have had a wonderful time using the wooden blocks to make things!

Just look at that Robot! In the craft area we have had lots of magical creations using the recycled materials that gave been collected, look at how proud we are of our work!

We have even been using colouring pencils to really test our pencil control skills! look at the concentration!

Some of us have been enjoying spending time reading together and growing new friendships.

We’ve even been working together to build excellent train tracks.

In this beautiful weather we’ve even been exploring the outdoor area and some of the resources we have. Look at these builders!

We have been building stories with our new friends.

Snack time has been a big hit! We’ve enjoyed trying lots of fruit!
